Belgium: Spring Walk Day-trip to Wallonia
With the official advent of Spring we would like to welcome members, alumni and friends to our Spring Walk. The walk/hike is led by Society Vice President Ruth.
This 9.5 km loop hike/walk (Lande de Streupas - Sart-Tilman - Angleur) near Liège will take about 2.5 to 3 hrs to hike and is a great opportunity for a short get-away to nature for a spontaneous outing (or overnight stay). Good footwear, raincoat and packed lunch are essential (as always on our hikes, we will take several stops to enjoy lunch and chat).
The walk also offers the opportunity to mingle with Oxbridge Alumni from Belgium. Moderate fitness is required, but pace will be adjusted to the group.
Alumni are encouraged to bring along friends and family to the walk.
If the opportunity arises at the end, we will also sit down in a café or pub (Oxbridge NL members and their guests will have a drink paid)

Location
If joining by public transport, we go together from Brussels Centraal (1h train ride, then a few bus stops to the starting point). Meet at Brussels Centraal at 10.45am (train leaves sharp at 11am). Note that you have to arrange your own train/bus tickets.
If going directly by car, meet at the starting spot (about 2.5 hrs from Utrecht, from Brussels 1.5 hrs)
