The Oxford and Cambridge Society of the Netherlands provides a platform for members to meet up.

Membership is open to alumni from either or both universities, and to anyone who has been associated with Oxford or Cambridge University for some period of time.

During the year there are various activities including an AGM, an annual dinner, Candlemas, a Boat Race Dinner, a summer family event and an informative meeting for prospective students.

In APRIL, 2016, the Committee relaunched the Monthly Social Gathering (pub hour) the details of these regular events are:

  • Amsterdam: first Wednesday of every month, starting around 8pm
  • Den Haag: last Tuesday of every month, starting from 8pm
  • Leiden: third Tuesday of certain months, starting from 6:30pm

The Group also hold various ad-hoc events such as lectures, talks, concerts, and occasional visits to organisations and places of interest throughout the year. Full details of events can be found on the website, as they become available.

The Society values good contacts with both the Oxford University Alumni office and the Cambridge Development and Alumni Relations office.
