Join Mike Gunton (Gonville & Caius College 1979) as he shares his adventures as an Executive Producer across multiple series. Mike Gunton

Mike Gunton, who completed his PhD in the Department of Zoology in 1986, is the Creative Director for Factual and the Natural History Unit for BBC Studios and an Executive Producer on many of the award-winning landmark series we know and love, including most recently The Green Planet, and Planet Earth III. He has worked with Sir David Attenborough on many of these acclaimed series in a close partnership that spans several decades.

Mike is committed to bringing new discoveries and pioneering research about the natural world to global audiences using the power of spectacular imagery, technical innovation and powerful storytelling.
