Revolutionising Economics and the World by Changing What We Measure
Revolutionising Economics and the World by Changing What We Measure
Our speaker will be Dr Gillian Tett, Provost of King's College, Cambridge. She is also a Financial Times columnist and member of the editorial board, having previously served as its chair. Gillian's earlier roles included US managing editor for the FT; assistant editor; capital markets editor; deputy editor of the Lex column; Tokyo bureau chief; and reporter in Russia and Brussels.
Her subject will be "Revolutionising Economics and the World by Changing What We Measure". This challenging title reflects Dr Tett's background in anthropology and the very different thinking she routinely brings to examining how human beings function, both individually and in groups.
