Melbourne - Cambridge Society Annual Dinner 2024
We are delighted to invite you and your guests to our Annual Dinner 2024 with a keynote address by the Honourable Keith Wolahan MP.
About Keith:
Born in Dublin in 1977, Keith migrated with his family to Melbourne in 1988. He pursued higher education in Politics and Economics at the University of Melbourne and Law with Honours at Monash University, followed by a Masters of International Relations at the University of Cambridge.
Keith's professional journey began in law, and he later served as a barrister specialising in commercial and consumer trials. In addition to his legal career, Keith served with distinction in the Australian Army, reaching the rank of Captain and completing several deployments, including one to Timor-Leste and three combat tours in Afghanistan. In 2011, he was awarded a Commendation for Distinguished Service for his performance of duty in action as a platoon commander.
Keith was elected as the Federal Member for Menzies in 2022 and delivered his first speech to parliament on 5 September 2022.
We are honoured to have Keith share his experiences and insights with us at the Annual Dinner, including his journey from Dublin to Melbourne, through prestigious educational institutions, and his service in both the legal field, the military and serving the community.
