Whether you’ve been to many Earth Sciences Alumni Days or this will be your first, the Alumni Day and Dinner is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with staff and fellow alumni.

The event is open to all alumni, friends and supporters of the Department of Earth Sciences. If your year group will be celebrating an anniversary in 2025, please celebrate with us!

In response to feedback from the 2024 Alumni Day, the programme will allow guests to participate in multiple tours and/or activities during the afternoon as well as explore the grounds.

The programme starts with Registration at 1.30 pm. From 2 pm we open with a welcome from the new Head of Department, then enjoy staff talks to appraise you on the history of the site and the research being undertaken at the Bullard, student talks on projects from the past year, as well as a number of brief tours and activities including a visit to the new Museum Collections store/Research Room. 

At the end of the afternoon, there will be a drinks reception on the lawn (weather allowing) before we head to Downing College for a delicious meal in eye-catching surrounds.
