Cambridge Black Alumni Network Launch Event
Cambridge Black Alumni Network Launch Event
The University of Cambridge Black Alumni Network is launching on Monday 22 February at 6pm. The event is for members (*membership is free*) and current black students and Fellows of the University.
Sign up for your free membership here: https://forms.gle/Mrna6GSyXCRPCfPV6
We have an excellent line up of black alumni who will speak on the theme: Alumni Reflections, my black Cambridge experience. After we have heard from all the speakers there will be an opportunity for questions.
The speakers are:
- Priscilla Mensah, Trade for Development Policy Attachée at UK Mission, Geneva
- Njoki Wamai, Assistant Professor in Politics and International Relations at United States International University - Africa
- Ashley John-Baptiste, Senior Digital Reporter at BBC News
This is also a chance for the network's Delivery Team to officially launch the network, and the co-chairs will briefly explain our plans for the network and what to expect from membership over the next few months.
