The Crown & Punchbowl in Horningsea is a newly refurbished pub and restaurant with nine guest rooms. Just three miles north east of Cambridge off Junction 34 of the A14, five minutes by car from the Cambridge Business and Science Parks and a lovely 30 minute walk along the river into Cambridge city centre.

Determined to keep the local pub alive, three real ales are served and a focused wine list from the Languedoc Roussillon. The restaurant serves seasonal modern British food in relaxed surroundings. The conservatory is bright and airy with ceramic light fittings recalling Horningsea’s historical connection to Roman pottery. Meanwhile, the oldest part of this Grade II listed building boasts original timber beams and roaring fires.
