Mike Town, one of our members, who is the organist and Director of Music at Patterdale church will present "The local organist entertains". Mike says that he will start with a brief explanation of how a pipe organ works, with a demonstration of a few types of pipes, followed by a selection of pieces to show the variety of sounds even a medium-sized village church organ can make. After Mike’s presentation we will have tea with sandwiches, cakes and scones in the church hall.
