If you fancy stretching your legs during events at the Sidgwick Site, you might want to join this intriguing 45-minute walking tour that will start and finish at the Sidgwick Site.

We’ll make our way towards the University Library.  What a site! A very famous architect who didn’t get what he wanted, a controversial artist who caused a strong difference of opinion between Germaine Greer and Dame Mary Beard and a patriotic groundsman who stayed silent when his beloved cricket pitch was ripped up.   Those of you who have been to Florence may have noticed that a nearby building seems rather familiar!  After heading back, the tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the place where John Lennon said “that was the first time I had appeared un-Beatled.”

Can't make the 11.30am tour, why not join the 10.00am earlier today.
