Members and guests are warmly invited to a light buffet supper and talk with Kate Bliss on “Discovering Antiques”. This event is jointly hosted with the Oxford University Society (H, B&R).

Antiques expert and TV presenter Kate Bliss was born into the auction world in Herefordshire and still has her Fine Art Valuation business here. She read English at Brasenose College, Oxford. She has been with the BBC for their ‘Bargain Hunt’, ‘Flog It!’ and ‘Secret Dealers’, as well as presenting ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’. She specialises particularly in jewellery and silver work. She is a fellow of the Great Britain Gemmological Association.
