Cambridge Society of Paris
Cambridge Society of Paris promotes interest in and support for the University of Cambridge among alumni and friends in France. It enables those who live in France and have connections with the University to maintain contact with each other and to share a number of common interests.
The Society offers members an annual programme of social, sportive and cultural events including a formal Annual Dinner, a Garden Party at the British Ambassador’s Residence, the Bal de l’X, performance of a Shakespearean play in the Bois de Boulogne, monthly drinks, a pétanque competition with Oxford alumni, excursions in France, informal discussion dinners, and Christmas Carols. Our activities are often organised with the alumni organisations representing Oxford, other British Universities, American Universities and French Grand Ecoles.
The Society also offers annually one or two bursaries in honour of its founding president, Trevor Brown. The Trevor Brown Bursaries are attributed to Cambridge students working on subjects related to France or French society.

In addition, the latest version of the British Community Calendar is now also posted to the Events page of the website in the “External” section so feel free to consult it to find out what events other British Associations in France have to offer.
