We do hope you can join us for the Alumni Day on Saturday 11 May. It will be a lovely afternoon of talks, tours, conversations and exploring. 

We would love to welcome back as many of our alumni as possible. If 2024 represents a significant anniversary, please do consider making this the year you join us, and your peers, for a celebration.

Whether you’ve been to many Earth Sciences Alumni Days or this will be your first, the Alumni Day and Dinner will be a wonderful opportunity to revisit not only the department but many fellow alumni – sit in your favoured seat in the lecture theatre for a talk, walk once again through to stone displays in the common room, find familiarity and see what’s changed.

The programme starts with Registration at 1:30pm. From 2pm, our programme includes talks from staff and students, tours both on- and off-site, demonstrations, museum-based activities, archive facsimiles and other treasures on display in the library plus refreshments and plenty of spaces to relax and catch up with your peers. Some activities require signing up.

There will be a drinks reception in the Sedgwick Museum before we reconvene at Peterhouse College for a delicious meal in eye catching surrounds.
